Lindsey
Lindsey is the founder of Team Cure. She has been a childhood cancer advocate for three years. It all started when she was scrolling through YouTube one day and came across the channel of a thirteen year old girl who had cancer. It was not until about three videos in, Lindsey realized that the girl had passed away from childhood cancer about a year earlier. This made Lindsey upset, and she asked herself, "How many other kids are fighting cancer?". After doing a bit of research, Lindsey realized that there were too many. After reading a couple of stories of children with cancer, she decided to start her own non-profit, Team Cure, in August of 2016. You can follow Lindsey on the Team Cure Instagram at @team.cure .
Alexa
Alexa is a childhood cancer advocate and co-founder of Packages For Kid Fighters. Alexa loves to make and send packages to children fighting cancer because she loves to see the look on their faces and brighten their day. Alexa loves to spend her free time fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Tennessee. Most recently at their 2016 Walk/Run to End Childhood cancer, she donated over $360 of her own money. She is so grateful for all they do for these families, so she loves to give back. Alexa was inspired by Breanna Bercegeay (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) and Ava Doiron-Frankland (Glioblastoma) to join the fight against childhood cancer. Mirabella
Mirabella has been a childhood cancer advocate for two years. She is the founder of the organization her and Alexa run together called Packages For Kid Fighters. Mirabella started to help kids with cancer three or four years ago, when she found Talia Joy's YouTube channel. She had always seen the commercials for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on television, and always knew she wanted to help these fighters. In 2015, Mira followed Kaat from Dream Catchers for Golden Warriors on Instagram and was inspired to start her own organization to help these children fighting for their lives. From there, Packages For Kid Fighters was born, and now Mirabella has sent over 50 packages in an effort to send happiness to all children in hospitals! Mia has been a childhood cancer advocate for almost two years. She was inspired by Gabriella Miller (DIPG) after hearing her story and watching YouTube videos bout her. Shortly after Gabriella passed away, Mia started her own foundation called the Brave Fighters Foundation (BFF). She makes cards and care packages for kids fighting cancer in hospitals. Mia fights childhood cancer because of how many children are taken by this monster. She believes that children should get a better chance to live and grow up. Lizzie
Lizzie is a childhood cancer advocate who was inspired to join the fight against childhood cancer after learning that one of her friends is a survivor. She is inspired by every child and warrior who has struggled to survive or who is being diagnosed right now because she admires how they stay strong through the toughest of times at such a young age. Lizzie joined the fight against childhood cancer because she had the privilege of a fun and happy childhood, yet there are so many children who are sick and crying constantly in pain. She wants to help them not feel connected to a hospital room and to feel like there is hope. Lizzie is so happy to be a part of Team Cure and finds it incredibly fulfilling.
